Cookie Land is a match-3 puzzle game. In a world made entirely of sweet, delicious desserts, a local named Bonbon needs the player's help to complete tasks. The player's primary goal is to win points, coins and stars. They also collect rewards and unlock gates leading to regions covered by cotton-candy clouds.
The player accesses each level on a winding river of chocolate sauce. Bonbon presents them with a task in the upper-center area and a checkerboard filled with desserts. Common treats include frosted cupcakes, heart cookies, cakey macarons and pie slices. On some levels, the player must also complete tasks that involve related items, such as frosting squares or dessert jars.
Bonbon requires the player to align three or more matching treats to remove the items from a board. The player can also remove items by using special super objects and boosters. For example, they create a super object similar to a line blast that removes all desserts from a column or row with a four-item alignment. If they combine two rainbow swirl cookies, they remove all desserts on a board at one time.
Cookie Land provides the player with rewards in many different ways. They receive points, coins and stars at the end of each level. They can double their coins with ad views. They can also burst bubbles that contain coins and boosters above stepping stones in the river. The game gives them achievement treasure chests and separate hopping chests on the river's shore after a few levels.
